I have SO many thoughts on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s latest episode:
I just watched the “intervention” episode. Where Taylor walks into Lisa’s house with the strength of 10 bulls and decides today is the day…let’s put it ALL out there.
I will start off saying I respect and understand all the things Taylor said regarding how Lisa treats her. I’m glad that she found her voice and called Lisa out.
The thing is, Lisa came to Taylor as not a close friend, but as a friend and said “I know I’m not your best friend, but I will help you if you need to talk or somewhere to go.” Taylor took that and turned it into “I am not your friend but…” There is a difference. Lisa was trying to tell Taylor that even though they arent super close…she will still be there for her. There is nothing wrong with that. Taylor spun it into what she wanted to hear because deep down she feels Lisa doesnt like her.
Well hate to be the one to break it, but I’m pretty sure Lisa doesnt like her. I think she’s okay with her when she’s around her and she’ll be cordial to her, but she just doesnt care to build a relationship. Why is that so wrong? There are plenty of people in my life that I would never want to build a best friend relationship with because I just dont click with their personality, but it doesnt mean we have to go around saying we’re enemies.
Taylor should not have tried to bring the other girls into ‘bashing Lisa time’. The issue was about her and Lisa and to try to bring the other housewives into it so she didnt feel so alone, was just wrong.
Everyone talks shit about everyone. Okay…maybe not shit..but there are still conversations that go on in ANY friendship where two or more friends will sit and talk about the other. That’s just human nature no matter how good of a person you would like to be. It’s wrong for that one friend to pick a fight, then try to call the other friends out, and say everything bad that person has said about the other. That’s exactly what Taylor was trying to pull. Obviously no one is going to be okay with that.
To end it, as Taylor sat there calling everyone out on how no one should talk behind each other’s backs and everyone needs to start being honest, Camille got pissed. She was basically like ‘You know what? Dont preach to us about being honest when you clearly arent honest with the world about the abuse that goes on in your marriage.’ BAM!
It’s unfortunate to see all of this go down, when as viewers, we all know that in the end Russell Armstrong took his own life. It’s so sad and so awful. We’re witnessing what is going on behind closed doors every day all over the world. People are being physically abused by their significant other and continue to make excuses for them and go back to them. Awareness, strength, and support from the people around you is the only way one can face it and get through it.
