I invented a new shot last night and named it the “Scary Spice” shot. This was inspired by two people. 1) Kyle Richards from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills who called Brandi “Scary Spice” during the reunion episode last season. The moment I heard her say that I’ve been using it ever since when I notice someone being super angry or just super mean. 2) The guy on the opposing kickball team last night during our game. He was definitely the most annoying player on the team. He took the game way too seriously and there is really no other way to describe him than to call him ‘Angry Spice’.
So as we drank our sorrows away at the bar last night after another kickball loss… I had a brilliant idea when I spotted Angry Spice sitting across the bar with his teammates. “Let’s order him a shot!” I told my fellow friend and teammate. We called the bartender over and told him we wanted to buy that guy a shot and for the bartender to bring it to him and say “Those two girls bought you this shot. It’s called an Angry Spice.” The bartender did as we requested and proceeded to pour a tequilla shot with 4 squirts of tobasco in it. A-mazing.
The look of shock as he received a shot from the team he had beat was priceless. He took a sniff, smiled and cheersed us from across the way. After chugging the shot down he immediately came over to us and was like “what was that?? Did you just order me the most awful shot in the world?” And we innocently giggled and replied “It’s called the Angry Spice shot. We thought after tonight’s game you deserved it.” It was all in good fun and he introduced himself and we had a good laugh.
