As many of you know, Reese Witherspoon and her hubby were arrested over the weekend. According to reports Reese was very obnoxious with the officer that was arresting her husband for a DUI and said things to him like “Do you know who I am??!”

The next day after the incident hit every single media outlet, Reese released a statement and said “Out of respect for the ongoing legal situation, I cannot comment on everything that is being reported right now. But I do want to say, I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said. It was definitely a scary situation and I was frightened for my husband, but that is no excuse. I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior.”

Now how freaking awesome is she?? I love when a celebrity tells the honest truth to the public. Now there’s nothing left to talk about. “Oh did you hear about Reese?” “Ya she was just drunk. She apologized.” “Oh cool.” End of story. If every celeb did this there wouldnt be so much constant drama that the media just loooooves to twist and blow out of proportion.

Other celebrities that I wish would follow Reese’s lead on being honest to the public and what I wish they would say:

Amanda Bynes: “I’m going through a quarter of a century midlife crisis so I’m acting out. Also I smoke a lot of weed and it’s making me act a little cray cray. Carry on everyone! Dont mind me!”

Lindsay Lohan: “No matter how many times I go to rehab I still love to go out and party and drink and not take any responsibility for my actions. And it all stems from me wanting attention because my parents are fuck ups and never gave me enough.”

Mary Kate & Ashley: “Sorry we let down all our fans down and grew up to became total odd balls. Don’t hate the celebrity hate the game! “

I deleted my okcupid account last night. Well actually, I disabled it. All I have to do is log back on when Im ready and it’ll all still be there.
But it was just so pointless. Only ugly guys were messaging me. And anytime I saw a cute guy on there I’d be too scared to write him and we would just keep looking at each others profile back and forth (yes it tells you who’s viewed your profile).
Then I got this doozy of a message Saturday night and I was like okay I’m done. Time to put a pause on online dating. No mas!!
Weirdos man. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

I am definitely enjoying NBC’s new dating show Ready For Love. It’s no ‘The Bachelor’ but it has potential. The only reason I’m into it is is because they picked the 3 most dreamiest guys EVER.

My #1 fave so far is Tim Lopez (middle). My goodness what a sweet dreamboat! How was I never a Plain White T’s fan before??

Ben Patton (far right) would be my second pick. Isn’t it crazy that someone as perfect as Ben can still be single??

And of course Ernesto Arguello (far left) is super handsome, smart and driven himself. I would not mind calling him my husband one bit.

I’m excited to see how this show goes the rest of the season.

The actually magazine quote is “the person the song is directed at” not ‘the person the song is about’. So I feel like she was upset/bitter about the relationship/breakup and used that to fuel the performance. I agree the song is definitely about John Mayer.

Awesome. Thank you! Good to know.

She was misquoted by all the tabloids, once again. If you read the original article (in Vogue, I think), she says “the person it’s directed to”, not “about”. There’s a big difference. I Knew You Were Trouble was definitively not written about Harry Styles.

Okay phew! Good to know. Thanks for the clarification!

I really hope this isn’t sure. Apparently TSwift said in a recent interview  that her hit song “I Knew You Were Trouble” was about One Direction’s Harry Styles. When discussing her live performance of the song Taylor said,

“You’re balancing the analytical side of your brain, which is telling you where to go and how to go there, with the other side of your brain, which is saying ‘Feel everything you’re singing, and show it on your face. Feel everything exactly as you felt it when you wrote the song.’ It’s not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is about is standing by the side of the stage watching.

We all know that John Mayer (who I believe the song is really about) and Jake Gyllenhaul both weren’t ever around when she started performing this song live. So it has to be about Harry. But that’s dumb! The lyrics don’t fit her relationship with Harry at all. I think she’s just saying this because she is bitter with Harry and wants him to think this hit song is about him so she can get attention from him. But the lyrics fit John Mayer SO much more.
