““Let’s give it up for people lipsyncing under pre-recorded music!” – Kid Rock

Hahah I hate to admit it but Kid Rock was right. Almost all of the performances at tonight’s Billboard Music Awards were lip synced. I don’t know exactly what you would call it because they arent 100% lip syncing. They have the original track playing and then they just sing live over it. 

What’s annoying about it is, that all the artists that did this tonight, can actually sing! (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, X-Tina, etc) So why do they all insist on lip syncing?
It is possible to dance and sing live at the same time. And if they can’t do both because they run out of breath or whatever then they need to make the dance moves simpler. No one respects an artist who doesn’t sing live.
