Did I tell you I fractured my wrist? Well I did! It’s fractured and it sucks because I can’t curl my hair or do anything on a normal basis. Like right now I’m writing this blog by talking into my iPad because it’s too difficult to type. This is my life.

One of my favorite things ever is hearing how couples meet for the first time. Everyone has a unique story. Their own story that no other couple has. And I just can’t help but smile when I hear the details of those first moments at the beginning of a relationship.

Ohhhhh boy. Just discovered a hash tag that’s super fun to look at on Instagram. #ringporn !!!
Check it out!

If you have the time to take 7 minutes out of your day today, take the time to watch NFL player Chris Kluwe on the Ellen show. I had no idea who he was or the letter he had written defending gay marriage but he’s amazing.

And he’s right. The shift is happening with more and more people being open minded and accepting of same sex marriage. Our generation and the generations under us are going to be the ones to really make a difference. It’s all just very emotional.

Because my wrist is broken it’s going to be hard for me to blog at the quality that I would like to be blogging. Usually I would post a picture of Carrie Underwood from tonight’s Grammys and discuss it, but that takes a lot of effort. So instead I’m just going to say that I’m kind of sick of Carrie Underwood and how special she thinks she is. In every interview she talks about how she never sings about love because love is too much of an important emotion for her to sing about. So then when you think about it, we’re stuck listening to songs from her about weird shit. Blown away, two Cadillacs, good girl vs bad girl… Etc..

I don’t know, I think it was just her Grammy performance that annoyed me tonight with that stupid light show on her dress and I just thought Come on. Give us a break.

Once Upon A Time…

on my 28th Birthday I flew all the way to New York City for the first time ever to celebrate. The first night out my best friend and I did it up right and found ourselves at a club sitting at a table with bottle service. I think the last time I found myself in this type of scenario was my 26th birthday.

Shortly after we had settled into our table I noticed the rapper Fat Joe walking by! (You should know I can spot a celebrity from 5 miles away. No matter if they’re A-List or D-List I will spot them) So drunk me….I go running up to him, tap him on the shoulder and say “Fat Joe!!” He smiled and walked away. Because it was my birthday, because I was drunk and because it was a celebrity, I was determined to hang out with him, or at least get a picture with Fat Joe.

Luckily he walked by our table again and I knew it was my moment. I ran up to him and said, “It’s my birthday! Can I please get one photo with you?” Thankfully he was sweet and said yes. After we took our picture he asked if he could buy me a drink. I felt like I had struck gold walking to the bar with Fat Joe and knowing he was going to buy me a drink. Could my birthday BE any more perfect??

As the night went on Fat Joe wouldnt really leave me alone. He kept hanging around me and flirting with me. Before I knew it… he was in love with me. We even exchanged numbers and he gave me a peck on the check when we left the club at 3am.
The next morning when I woke up and slowly started to play the whole night back in my mind I realized there were a few clues that just didn’t add up to him being the famous rapper.
Clue 1) He said he worked construction
Clue 2) He didnt have a table at the club
Clue 3) He said he’d be in Vegas in a few months to go to the Magic Convention

Was this guy not Fat Joe?!?! I grabbed my phone and noticed a text message from him. And right away I knew I had to ask his name. “Is your name Joe? Or did I make that up?” – I asked. He replied with “Haha My name is Luis. But everyone last night thought I was Fat Joe.”

And that is the story of how on my 28th birthday in NYC I met and hung out with a nice mexican fellow named Luis.

Trying out a new foundation! Today is day one and so far I love it. It goes on smooth, full coverage and gives me a little glow.

It’s called Almay Mousse Makeup and it’s pretty cool because it goes on white then matches to your skin tone. Magic I tell  ya!  Try it out if you’re looking for a new cheaper foundation. $14.99 at CVS.

SPENDING TIME ON THE WEEKENDS

Have you ever dreamed this man?
In January 2006 in New York, the patient of a well-known psychiatrist draws the face of a man that has been repeatedly appearing in her dreams. In more than one occasion that man has given her advice on her private life. The woman swears she has never met the man in her life.
That portrait lies forgotten on the psychiatrist’s desk for a few days until one day another patient recognizes that face and says that the man has often visited him in his dreams. He also claims he has never seen that man in his waking life.

The psychiatrist decides to send the portrait to some of his colleagues that have patients with recurrent dreams. Within a few months, four patients recognize the man as a frequent presence in their own dreams. All the patients refer to him as THIS MAN.

From January 2006 until today, at least 2000 people have claimed they have seen this man in their dreams, in many cities all over the world: Los Angeles, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tehran, Beijing, Rome, Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, New Dehli, Moskow etc.

No one has ever physically seen this man in their life and there are many theories regarding this man. Some think he is God, or the “creator” some people think he is a man who has the ability to travel from one person’s dream to another’s. Some just think that this happens due to imitation.
Have you seen this man?

Creeeeeepy. I do not know this man. But now since I looked at his face and I’m about to go to sleep, I’ll see him.
