I went and saw Zac Efron’s new movie “The Lucky One” tonight with some friends. I hadn’t read the book beforehand so I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was that Zac Efron had beefed up for this role and looked gorgeous.

The movie was good. I was entertained the whole way through. There were some eye-rolling moments but that happens during any romantic movie. “This is SO not real life.” Zac Efron was amazing (and by amazing I mean he is HOT). The blonde chick (Taylor Schilling ) seemed to fit her character perfectly. I just wasn’t WOWed by the story line. Don’t get me wrong…. it’s worth seeing. I just didn’t love it as much as I hoped I would. All of the Nicholas Sparks novels that they turn into films (Dear John, The Lucky One, The Last Song, Nights In Rodanthe) are always enjoyable and romantic to watch, but I think the story lines just come off so basic on film…they don’t come off as touching as they do in the book. The Notebook is the only one that ever came close.

Get out of town. Channing Tatum’s new movie trailer for his stripper movie “Magic Mike” has been released. And he looks a-mazing.

Seriously… he has been and always will be my number 1. He is perfection. You just can’t get hotter than him.

I saw The Hunger Games opening weekend and I can’t even express how delighted I was. It feels like just yesterday I was blogging about the books and posting who was cast for the movie. It seemed March 23rd would never get here. But March 23rd did arrive and I couldnt WAIT to see how this amazing story would translate on film.

Luckily, director Gary Ross did the book justice. I haven’t researched a lot of bad reviews of the film but I can’t possibly think of one bad thing you could say about it. The movie had everything you could ask for. The characters were all believable, the set for all the districts and the capitol were exactly how I envisioned it and the film stayed true to the book. A-mazing.

My favorite part was the final scene with Rue. It was so powerful! I cried my eyes out. Cinna was also my favorite character. Lenny Kravitz did such an amazing job with him. I loved him and every moment him and Katniss shared.

I’m completely in love with this movie. So so so so so happy it did the book justice!!

I think it’s crazy that anyone can make it in Hollywood and become a successful actor. But TWO brothers BOTH making it in this biz. Unbelievable. How did they do it??

I saw the new movie ‘The Vow’ over the weekend staring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. Two of my favorite actors. I planned on seeing it on Valentine’s Day but I just had SO many dates to go on, I didnt have the time. ha

But I did finally see it and I must say….I loved it. I mean, it was your average chick-flick romantic movie, but it felt like so much more than that. Probably because it was based on a true story. The love we were seeing that in most cases we would find ourselves thinking “This is just movie love. Love like this doens’t exist in real life. Whatever.” we were instead thinking “My god. That really happened. True “if it’s meant to be it will be” type of love IS out there!!”

I just loved how Channing Tatum’s character was so loving and so patient and so kind. Those are the most important qualities you can find in a guy.

I got super frustrated during this movie when Rachel McAdam’s character was being a complete brat. I just wanted her to gain her memory back! And to be nice to her husband again. But this movie was very realistic and it showed that things take time. It doesn’t get resolved within a few weeks. It can take months, or even years.

I just adore a good love story!! Go check it out if you haven’t seen it. And it isn’t super sad. You won’t find yourself crying your eyes out. I didn’t get emotional until the very last scene.

I just love movies. They make me so happy and so excited to see them. I just watched the trailer for “Friends With Kids” and it looks like it could be good! Such an interesting concept… wanting a kid, not being married, so having a kid with your best guy friend.
I think 75% of the reason why I want to see this movie is because Jon Hamm is in it and I love him more than life. Swoon.
