Seriously…one of the BEST numbers Glee has ever done. I’m obsessed with Heather Morris’ performance of Beyonce’s ‘Who Run The World’ from last night’s episode. She is fierce. Girl power!!

Let’s discuss last night’s episode of Gossip Girl.
Highlights:
-Dan is in love with Blair!! Awwwww. So cute so cute! Even though I’m obviously Team Chair. I would not mind seeing a season or two of Dair love.
-Chuck looked GORGEOUS
-Chuck, Serena and Nate are in Los Angeles!
Lowlights:
–Chuck hit on an old ugly chick. Why??!
–Nate’s story lines are always so lame. Why does he have to be the one sleeping with the new random character? It’s boring and overdone

Season 5 of Gossip Girl starts tonight on the CW!!!!
I can’t wait. I can’t wait. I dont feel as obsessed as I was 3 months ago, I’ve had some time away to not really be consumed by it. But I’m sure once I see tonight’s premiere the obsession will return. haha

My new obsession: Mad Men. This show is so beyond good. I can’t believe they’re on season 5 already and I am just now getting into it. Luckily for me, I can catch up on netflix.
Congrats to Mad Men for winning their 4th consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Drama TV series last night at the 2011 Emmy Awards. YES!

I just randomly came across this HBO special called “Madonna of the Mills”. I had no idea what it was about but automatically, I was hooked. It’s a documentary about puppy mills. Please don’t buy your dogs in pet stores. Go to your local animal shelter and adopt. There is nothing more sad than seeing a dog who has come from a puppy mill and has lived its’ life in a cage and is deathly afraid of everything. They don’t deserve that. Not only that but nearly 100% of dogs you get from a puppy mill and pet store have some sort of disease.
You can watch the trailer above of the documentary and visit the website here

I finished reading The Help over the holiday weekend. I was able to get through it pretty fast since I was traveling and there really is no better place to read than the airport and when you’re on a plane.
I loved this book. It took me back to a place and a time that I only know about from history books. I could not imagine growing up in Jackson, Mississippi in the 60s where racism was still going strong. All I could do was shake my head in shock with the way people use to think back then. Separate bathrooms for different races, separate drinking fountains, separate neighborhoods…the inequality of it all is just so sad.
The author did a great job in portraying all the different characters. Each characters’ story was so interesting I didn’t want to put the book down. I can’t wait to see the movie now!
