Director’s Cut of Miley’s “We Can’t Stop”

Check out the director’s cut of Miley Cyrus’ We Can’t Stop.

It’s even more annoying than the original video. New footage in this cut!

Lady Gaga to Perform at 2013 MTV Music Video Awards!

Lady Gaga to Perform at 2013 MTV Music Video Awards!

MTV announced that Lady Gaga will be performing at this years MTV Music Video Awards!!

This is exciting because she has been MIA for awhile and you just know she’s going to make her performance weird and epic. ha! I’m glad that Gaga disappeared for awhile. People were kind of getting over her because she was EVERYWHERE and her whole act was getting a little played out.

But now I feel fans are ready to see her and embrace her again!

Fifth Harmony- “Miss Movin On”

I was in my car the other night and the radio station was doing their nightly Top 9 at 9 Countdown. I heard this new song come in at #8 and immediately my ears perked up. It sounded like pure girly pop music!

Turns out the song is by the girl group that was discovered on last season of U.S. X FactorFifth Harmony. I don’t know much about them but from what I can guess, they have this single out and a music video for it, but no official album.

The song is soooooo good though!! (If you like poppy-music) The girls are a tad annoying in the video so maybe just play the video but close your ears and listen. ha!

I’m secretly hoping it does well on Top 40 radio

Selena Gomez Birthday Video

Selena Gomez turns 21 today!!!! And she made a bday video to go along with a song off her new album “Birthday.”

Good jam! This should have been her next single and music video rather than this one.

Demi Lovato’s New Music Video For ‘Born In The USA’

My favorite song on Demi Lovato’s new album now has a music video! I’m so happy she chose Made In the USA as her next single.

Demi helped direct this music video and it’s a patriotic love story about two gorgeous kids who meet at a county fair, fall in love, he goes off to war, but they happily reunite in the end.

I’m sooo picky these days when it comes to music videos, Ive discovered. It just takes a lot for me to be impressed with a music video. Not that this is bad or anything…but when you really like a song you want to REALLY like the music video too.

Part 2 of Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience!

The 20/20 Experience continues!!!

If you’re like me, you’re a tad disappointed in Justin Timberlake’s new album. Well we’re in luck because he’s releasing Part 2 of his album on September 30th!!
In this 50 second video uploaded to youtube, JT holds up a sign showing when Suit & Tie came out, then Mirrors and then when the actual album was released. A new single on the album “Take Back The Night” plays in the background as Justin walks into the club.
What do we think of the snippet? Sounds a little too disco era to me, but we’ll see!!!

New Music! Jay Z and JT!

I’ve tweeted about it, I’ve facebooked about it and now I am going to blog about it. I’m completely in love with Jay Z’s new single “Holy Grail” featuring Justin Timberlake. Just something about the chorus that JT sings touches your heart. I just want to lay in my room and blast this song and listen to it on repeat.

I have a feeling with artists like Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Rick Ross, and Frank Ocean on this album it’s going to be a-mazing.

Justin Timberlake’s New Music Video for ‘Tunnel Vision’

I have NO idea when it became acceptable for nipples to be in music videos…but I guess it’s the new cool thing. Robin Thicke did it first with his video “Blurred Lines” and now Justin Timberlake has followed suit and is showing HELLA nipples in his new music video for “Tunnel Vision

But all boobs aside…how do we feel about JT’s next single? I don’t hate it. I like it and I’m sure when I hear it on the radio I’ll turn it up. BUT I just don’t find it very exciting. And let’s be real…the Timberland sound is SO played out. That was cool years ago…it doesn’t sound cool anymore. It’s nice JT was faithful to Timberland and used him again in some of his songs, but I really wish he would have gone in a new direction.

P!nk has a new adorable music video for her latest single ‘True Love’.

Starring in the video is her gorgeous husband and adorable 2 year old daughter Willow. P!nk is just looking flawless these days. Must be because of all the happiness her family brings to her.

I had this great vision while I was watching this video. When I get married I’m going to make a video collage of my husband and I being so cute together and then play this song over it. Then make everyone at my wedding sit and watch it. Great idea right?? Don’t steal it. hahahah

Mackelmore Responds To Supreme Court Overturning DOMA And Prop 8

“Today is a historic day for civil rights in America. By declaring DOMA unconstitutional, the Supreme Court has stated that the U.S. Government can no longer deny federal benefits to same sex couples. This means that people like my uncles, who have been in a committed relationship for over 20 years, will now receive the same rights that my parents have. Personally, I feel reconnected to my American identity, and am proud of the progress we have made in recent years. Today gives promise to the hope that we can and will change when our nation isn’t fair and just. It’s a victory not only for the LGBTT community and those rejoicing with friends, family and loved ones, but also a victory for all who devote their lives to fight for what is constitutionally and ethically right.

While today’s ruling was monumental and imperative, we have a long way to go. There are still 37 states in our country that must shift legislation on same sex marriage before equality for same-sex couples is reached. But the real work lies in deconstructing the core of where the fear around same-sex couples comes from. Homophobia and intolerance continue to play a strong role in many households, schools, media and religious institutions in our country. Without directly addressing the real issues and where they stem from, America’s momentum towards justice will be stagnant and insincere.

This ruling gives us all an opportunity to address equality for same-sex couples in our homes, our schools and our social circles. We must continue to have dialogue and discussions around this issue, and push ourselves past the point of what’s comfortable and socially accepted. We, especially those of us whose rights are secure, are challenged to not sit passively in this crucial moment of cultural progress. True change lives in the minds and hearts of the people that make up our country, and must be cultivated, not mandated. We all have a part to play.”

-Macklemore
