I think everyone is being too hard on Christina Aguilera. Just because she got divorced, has a new boyfriend, gained weight, and was caught being drunk in public …doesn’t mean she’s hit rock bottom.
If you break it down…her actions are probably what about 60% of America is doing. ( I made that figure up). Everyone is just lucky enough to not be in the public eye like she is. I think she’s in the middle of figuring out her new life as a single woman and while she’s not really working she’s partying it up and eating the foods she deprived herself of when she was shooting “Burlesque” .
She’s always had a good head on her shoulders so I have faith that she will snap out of it and come back healthy and happy. I think if anything is going to make her hit rock bottom, it’s going to be the media who keeps publishing lies that would force anyone into a depression.

Maybe it’s because it’s late at night or maybe just cause it’s really beautiful but I teared up watching this youtube of Maria Aragon sing on the Ellen Degeneres show. I had heard about this little girl singing a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and Lady Gaga seeing it and then deciding to meet her, but I hadn’t seen the original video yet.
The message of this song is so beautiful and the words are so touching…and hearing the simple version Maria sings really makes you realize that. Bravo to this young girl who has such a bright future in front of her and bravo to Lady Gaga for recognizing her fans the way she does.
