I love love love love this song!! I’m really rooting for Avril and I’d like to see her have a hit album again. Just not sure it’s going to happen. Hopefully with this single it will! It’s so good and I hope Top 40 radio makes it a hit!

And in other random ass news….

Avril Lavigne is engaged to Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger.

Say whaaaaaa? I didnt even know they were dating!!!!! She dated Brody for years and never got engaged to him but wants to marry this guy?? That girl is cray. Apparently they have been dating for about 6 months while he was helping her write songs for her new album. This will last 72 days. For sure.

My thoughts on Avril Lavigne’s new music video for “Goodbye” as I watched it for the first time. (skip to 1:50 for the vid)

1.) Wow Avril is all grown up. Rocking lingerie in this vid! Go girl!
2.) Man…I really want to stay at the Chateau Marmont sometime. It looks so vintage
3.) Avril is still just chillin alone in her lingerie… totes normal.
4.) Ohhh…now she’s depressed and crying. Why is she crying?? Oh lord she’s taking off her wig! Oh now she’s really losing it.
5.) Ohhhh…shes playing a PROSTITUTE. I get it.
6.) She is a prostitute in this video right?

I’m so glad Avril Lavigne made this her next single. I really hope it’s a hit. It’s such a good song. No one does sad breakup/love songs like she does. (So Much For My Happy Ending, When You’re Gone, I’m With You..etc. )
