Today was the 2013 Presidential Inauguration and Beyonce sang the national anthem with the help of the US Marine Band.
And my goodness was it perfection! Wow! She sang it perfectly. She didnt try to overdo it with too many riffs and long drawn out notes, she just sang it beautifully. I love her so much! And I love both moments with Michelle and Obama where they share a kiss on the cheek.
*update* She was lip-syncing!!! Sheesh.

Back when I was a super-fan of NSYNC and Britney Spears… the opportunity to make youtube videos like this did not exist. The closest I could get was to watch the recording of a music video or live performance on my vhs, rewind it multiple times and teach myself the choreography. And if my friends would put up with it, I’d perform it at every social gathering I could.
But now, we have super-fans that can take a music video and recreate it shot by shot to absolute perfection. This kid who made his own version of Beyonce’s video for “Countown” is beyond amazing. It was announced this morning that Beyonce was named People Magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman of the Year. And beautiful she is! Well deserved B, well deserved!

I can’t get over how AMAZING Beyonce’s performance was at the Billboard Music Awards. It was so different..a live performance done like we had never seen done before. She is 100% what a pop icon should be. She is the whole package. I didnt even like this song but after a performance like this, I can definitely appreciate it.
