My boy got picked!! Jef with one F was chosen tonight by Emily and he got down on one knee and proposed to her during tonight’s finale. He said a lot of amazing things during his proposal. One can only hope it works out with these two because the words were heavy and should not be taken lightly.

Emily did something no bachelor or bachelorette had ever done before on the show and that was she sent the other “contestant” home before they could even have a final date. She didnt even give the other guy (Arie) a chance because she knew in her heart that Jef was already the one. 

The three hour finale showed a “Live After The Rose Special” and the audience learned that Jef and Emily are STILL together and happy. I hope it works out for them but if not, I’m always available, Jef. 😉

I dont know why it took me so long to search “the bachelorette” tag on tumblr but I did for the first time tonight. And I’m reminded once again of why I love tumblr. Just when you think youre the only weirdo out there…you realize there’s a whole WORLD of people out there with the same exact thoughts you have!! Yup.. just by looking at the tag I can see 80% of viewers are on Team Jef. I mean….how could you not be?? He wrote the cutest sweetest note to her ever and after he was done reading it to her she looked at him and said “That is probably the sweetest thing any one has ever said to me in my whole life.”

Awwwwwww. I’m such a hopeless romantic I can’t get enough of this: “I just fell in love with you even though we’ve only been on 3 dates and have known each other for 6 weeks” bullshit. I love it!! I believe in it! lol And I’ve witnessed all the breakups and how only 2% of these couples last…I still watch with hope!

Best Bachelor Quote Ever

I’m completely obsessed with The Bachelorette this season and there is really only one reason – Jef Holm. One F Jef has stolen my heart through the television and I may never get it back again.

He said the best quote to date from that show (and I’ve been watching the Bachelorette/The Bachelor since high school so I’ve heard them all) when him and Emily were cuddling on their 1-on-1 date. “I want to date you so hard and marry the sh*t out of you.”  Ummm ya. Can’t get cuter than that. The Bachelor is so good about keeping it PG and being very serious and romantic, it’s nice to hear some real humor every once in awhile.

I can tell Emily is falling hard core for Jef. Why? Because he makes her laugh! Genuinely laugh! I dont think men realize just how important this is. And of course on top of that he’s got this great hair, boy-ish charm going on and he’s still mature enough to talk about having babies and getting married. Swoon! I really can’t get enough. 🙂
