Sometimes when I see all the pictures from Taylor’s concert on my tumblr feed I imagine what it would be like if I magically got floor seats instead of my nosebleed tickets to her show. And I honestly begin to cry. lol

On Taylor Swift’s last tour- The Speak Now Tour– she would sing a different cover song every night on the B Stage and it would always have to do with a music artist that was from the city she was in (the B Stage is the second stage where Taylor performs acoustic songs. She’s been doing this on her last two tours).

Well for the Red Tour instead of covering other artists’ songs she’s singing one of her old songs based on what she’s reading on message boards that her fans want to hear. I think this is the BEST THING EVER. Because obviously we know her set list for Red ahead of time, but this is an extra surprise for the fans.

So I was thinking tonight which song I would want her to sing on the B stage for MY concert in Los Angeles. My first choice would definitely be Last Kiss. Still to this day, it’s my favorite TSwift song.

So I’ll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep
And I’ll feel you forget me like I use to feel you breathe
And I’ll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are
Hope it’s nice where you are

Amy Poehler responds to Taylor Swift’s comments in Vanity Fair magazine:

“Aw I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is young and talented girl. That being said, I do I agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Yup… I just blew up my blog with some TSwift stuff. Sorry folks. I just can’t  help it. It’s kind of a big deal.

Here’s a preview of the TSwift interview in Vanity Fair magazine. I’m so so so so happy to hear her speaking out about her reputation and image she’s had lately regarding the guys she’s “dated.” I’m proud of her response.

“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” Taylor Swift tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales on the subject of mean girls in general and in response to an incident at this year’s Golden Globes, where Amy Poehler and Tina Fey mocked her highly scrutinized love life. “Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’”]

Specifically of her dating life, Swift says that “if you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people,” meaning Conor Kennedy and One Direction’s Harry Styles. Though she has gone out with some of the entertainment world’s most notorious bachelors, including Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and John Mayer, Swift says, “[t]he fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with… it’s just kind of ridiculous.” As she sits drinking lavender lemonade in her “Tim Burton–Alice in Wonderland–pirate ship–Peter Pan” apartment, Swift continues, “It’s why I have to avoid the tabloid part of our culture, because they turn you into a fictional character.” When Sales asks Swift if she’s boy-crazy, Swift smiles. “For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated—a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way—that’s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist.”

Although one of Swift’s rules is that she doesn’t go into the personal details of any of her relationships, she authorized someone to discuss them with Sales. “He wore her down,” the source says of Styles, who allegedly “chased” Swift for a year. “He was all, like, ‘You’re amazing—I want to be with you. I want to do this.’” The relationship fell apart after he texted Swift to alert her of a picture on the Internet of him kissing a friend good-bye.

On my drive home from work I blasted TSwift’s bonus songs The Moment I Knew and Come Back Be Here. I’ve been so caught up listening to all her pop singles WANEGBT, IKYWT and 22… I forgot how underrated her slow songs are. After she releases 22 as her next single I hope the next one will be a ballad. That’s for sure.

The funniest thing to hit the internet in a long long time.

I’m LOVING the new grown up TSwift these days!! She performed I Knew You Were Trouble last night at the Brit Awards and even though it’s the same performance she did at the American Music Awards she’s looking more hot and confident here. Too bad her hair didnt come out of the pony as planned but she played it off perfectly. I’m loving the dance break they included too. Check it out!
