Sometimes love can be a hectic journey. But it’s the journey that creates love.
I heard this quote from Sean Lowe on last night’s episode of The Bachelor. (Yes I’m quoting The Bachelor) But I just loved this quote so much. Love IS a hectic journey. Sometimes our paths take longer and are more difficult than others but whatever our path to happiness may be, we all hope to find love at the end of it.

Sometimes I worry about myself. I don’t think it can be emotionally good for a person to be single for as long as I have. There’s gotta be some long term damage that’s happening to me subconsciously that I don’t totally realize yet.
How can I be surrounded by so many people that love me, yet not one guy on earth finds me loveable? I’m not saying this to be depressing or feel sorry for myself… honestly…I’m just saying this because I worry for myself. I worry that I will never find what I’m looking for and I’m going to somehow be emotionally f*cked up. Can a person be this alone and independent for this long and still come out okay?
I’m losing myself. It’s a daily battle of caring too much then forcing myself to be grateful and happy and not care at all.

As a single girl I sit here at the restaurant awkwardly catching the couple making out in the booth next to me and saying to myself “ew. Really? Get a room”. But then my next thought is “oh geez who am I kidding. If I had a guy I’d be all over him too”

Nothing like waking up on Saturday morning and stalking your “ex” (not really my ex but it’s just easier if I call him that) to discover on his girlfriend’s instagram account that she:
a) posted a stupid E-Card with the quote “Maybe Taylor Swift should write a song titled ‘Maybe I’m The Problem’.
Okay obviously I already didnt like the beezy but now she’s gone and dissed TSwift?! DONE. This quote about Taylor has been said so many times that it’s not even a new joke or funny anymore. So that shows how relevant and up to date this girl is.
and B) she also posted a picture on her instagram of her and my boy in Lake Tahoe together. Since I’m from Reno Lake Tahoe is basically my hood so she is not aloud to be there with my “ex”!

Here it is!! A new year!! Can’t believe 2012 is gone and 2013 is here!!
2012 was a decent year for me. No major complaints. Highlights from the year include:
-blogging for Seacrest
-best friends that visited me in LA
-“dating” a guy for about 4 months
-joining a kickball team
-making many more amazing memories with all my friends
I’m not going to make a New Years resolution this year but I do have the same hopes as I always do. I would like to fall in love, lose weight and find a job I’m truly happy at. It’s not a lot to ask but yet SO much to ask at the same time.
I’m hopeful and excited to see what this new year brings!!!
