If I’ve learned anything this year it’s to not watch Ryan Seacrest’s NYE special on tv and to watch Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin’s instead.
I recorded Seacrest’s NYE special and watched it today and it was fine…he did a good normal job….but he just stood in front of the crowd who was gated off from him and talked to the camera. Nothing funny or amusing about his performance.
Then thanks to Buzzfeed I saw this AMAZING moment that happened with Kathy, Anderson, PSY and MC Hammer. Freaking hilarious!! This is the kind of live television you want to be watching. Not Seacrests G-rated show. Watch the video above.

Taylor and Harry Kissing on NYE
Oh man. Okay I watched this video twice to analyze it. These are my thoughts: Taylor is so excited to have a bf and have someone to kiss at midnight. She’s just like any other girl on NYE. They do the countdown, both of them kiss. And after she just holds onto him for SO long. Probably taking in the romance of it all and she’s probably so completely happy. I mean, is there any better feeling than that moment on NYE, in Times Square and getting to kiss the boy you adore at midnight??
And well… Harry just sort of hugs her back. His eyes open… and then they kiss again. And he hugs her again. But sort of pats her on the back.. like “ya. okay. this is fun.”
I just wonder if Harry doesnt act as romantical as Taylor is acting because a) he’s a boy so he doesnt take these moments in as much as girls do b) he feels super uncomfortable because there are so many fans around them watching or c) hes just not as into her as she is. I hope it’s not C!!!

Still not sure what to wear tonight to your New Years Eve party? Here’s a couple looks that would be perfect for a special night out!
Julie’s look is super classic with this little black dress. If you’re going with a LBD, look for one with unique details and a current cut. (Think: What would Kate Middleton pin on Pinterest?) She accents her simple dress with black and gold glam and adds a bright pink lip to add a pop of color.
Jer hardly wear suits, so when he does he likes to go with something a little less expected. So right now, that’s navy. You’re event will most likely be filled with charcoal and black so navy is a great curve ball. The rest is in the details, most importantly the socks.
