I dont know why it took me so long to search “the bachelorette” tag on tumblr but I did for the first time tonight. And I’m reminded once again of why I love tumblr. Just when you think youre the only weirdo out there…you realize there’s a whole WORLD of people out there with the same exact thoughts you have!! Yup.. just by looking at the tag I can see 80% of viewers are on Team Jef. I mean….how could you not be?? He wrote the cutest sweetest note to her ever and after he was done reading it to her she looked at him and said “That is probably the sweetest thing any one has ever said to me in my whole life.”

Awwwwwww. I’m such a hopeless romantic I can’t get enough of this: “I just fell in love with you even though we’ve only been on 3 dates and have known each other for 6 weeks” bullshit. I love it!! I believe in it! lol And I’ve witnessed all the breakups and how only 2% of these couples last…I still watch with hope!

Yesterday I went to Perch in downtown Los Angeles to celebrate my friend’s birthday on their rooftop bar. I’m a sucker for a rooftop bar. I just love a hot summer day with city life all around me. It was a very cool spot.

I just happened to meet two cute guys brieftly (thanks to my friend’s flirting skills). One was a 34 year old actor who had taken the subway to downtown…and the other was a singer who invited us to his show at the Viper Room end of August. Sooooooo LA. I kind of love it and roll my eyes at it at the same time.

I happened to look up the singer I had met and let’s just say dreamy doesnt even big to describe him. Sooo hot he is. Watch his music video here.

Anderson Cooper announced to the world this morning that he is gay. Many of us already knew this…but I’m proud of him for finally coming out and making it public.

“I’m gay, always have been, always will be and couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.” – Anderson told The Daily Beast.

Last night I tried to flirt with a boy. Because let’s be real…I’m REALLY bad at it. I did not get the flirting gene…at all. The only time I’m remotely good at flirting is when I’ve had a few drinks or if a guy is obviously flirting with me then I feel comfortable enough to flirt back.

So last night I was out at a bar in Santa Monica and a very cute boy walked in. I could tell he didnt live in LA because he looked like a bro. (those dont exist in LA). So in an attempt to flirt with him, without even thinking I said to him as he walked by “Are you wearing a SF Giants jersey in a bar in LA??” and he replied “ha yup…I sure am.” and continued walking.

Flirting fail. I wanted to slap myself in the forehead right after. I mean I did smile and laugh about it when I said it, I wasn’t rude by any means…but still…when trying to talk to a guy you find cute…do not insult the team they clearly are a fan of. Ooops. lol
