Tess Explains It All

My mom sent me a book titled “The Book of Love”. There is one section of the book titled “Signs You Will Soon Fall In Love Or Marry”. Here are a few signs I need to be on the look for….

“If you hear a bird call from the east.” (I have no sense of direction so I wouldnt even know what direction to listen for birds)

“If a man wipes his hands on your apron he’ll soon fall in love with you. Attempt to precipitate this by offering your apron to the man may backfire. He must reach for the apron on his own!” (Well since I never cook, let alone wear an apron…a man wont be reaching for my apron anytime soon)

“On Saint George’s Day (April 23), go into a field or meadow with at least four other single women and one white dog. Blindfold the dog, then place yourselves in a circle around the field. The first woman the dog touches will be married within the year” (Okay now this one just sounds like a blast. I just have to find a white dog and 4 single women that will be willing to go into a meadow with me. hahahha)

“If you find bubbles floating in your noncarbonated drink, love is coming soon. If the bubbles are touching the rim of the glass this means that with love will also come wealth.” (Nice!! Love and wealth!! I’ll be secretly praying for bubbles on the rim of my class from this point on)
