Last night I went to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and it was such a great time. It was only my second time ever going there and the Bowl is just beyond fun for a concert. You forget how magical it feels until you’re in it.
It was a benefit concert for the Young Survival Coalition (an organization raising money for young women battling breast cancer) and the lineup was Katy Perry, Tegan and Sara, Sara Bareilles, Ellie Goulding, Bonnie McKee and Kasey Muskgraves. Amazing right?? What a show!!
One of my favs of the night was Sara Bareilles. You always hear her songs on the radio but you don’t realize how amazing her voice is until you see her live. And she sang Gravity which is seriously one of my favorite songs ever and I just LOVED getting to hear it live.

Katy Perry came out and sang a few old hits and a few new songs. Everyone was on their feet singing and dancing. When she sang her new song By The Grace Of God I fell in love immediately.
The show ended with all the artists coming out to sing Katy Perry’s “Roar” together and it was a great way to end the show!

Oh my gosh. I know….
It’s been weeks and I have not given you my review of the Justin Timberlake Jay Z  Legends of Summer concert!!!
But I’m finally finding time to do so, so here goes.

I went to the show at Candlestick Park in San Francisco,CA. Unfortunately our seats were at the very top of the stadium so Jay Z and JT looked like ants. I could barely see them. But believe it or not, the music was SO good, it didn’t even matter to me that they were so far.

They opened the show with Jay Z’s Holy Grail and since this just happens to be one of my favorite songs at the moment, I was on my feet jumping up and down and singing my heart out.

The concert was filled with hit after hit, Jay Z and Timberlake switching back and forth. I will say Jay Z nailed it a bit more than Justin. His songs are just SO good everyone was screaming and rapping along.

Luckily JT sang 90% of his old jams which was clearly his best music and the crowd didn’t mind one bit! When he sang “Cry Me A River” I was reminded all over again just how epic that song is. It’s a game changer.

The concert last a little over 2 hours and I didnt sit down once. Every song was amazing and every song had you on your feet. Definitely one of the best concerts I’ve been to in a long time!! I only wish I had better seats.

On Taylor Swift’s last tour- The Speak Now Tour– she would sing a different cover song every night on the B Stage and it would always have to do with a music artist that was from the city she was in (the B Stage is the second stage where Taylor performs acoustic songs. She’s been doing this on her last two tours).

Well for the Red Tour instead of covering other artists’ songs she’s singing one of her old songs based on what she’s reading on message boards that her fans want to hear. I think this is the BEST THING EVER. Because obviously we know her set list for Red ahead of time, but this is an extra surprise for the fans.

So I was thinking tonight which song I would want her to sing on the B stage for MY concert in Los Angeles. My first choice would definitely be Last Kiss. Still to this day, it’s my favorite TSwift song.

So I’ll watch your life in pictures like I used to watch you sleep
And I’ll feel you forget me like I use to feel you breathe
And I’ll keep up with our old friends just to ask them how you are
Hope it’s nice where you are
