HAPPY 2015 EVERYONE!!!!!

The picture above I took of myself enjoying a mimosa with friends the morning of Jan 1st. It was a wonderful way to start off the New Year!
Looking back at old posts, it seems 2014 started off like every other year starts off for me. My goals were to eat healthy and go the the gym.
I so badly want to be in shape and be skinny but stupid food always wins the battle!! Also last year my other resoultion was to write down things that make me happy randomly throughout the year on a piece of paper and put them in a mason jar.

Well surprise surprise… My mason jar is empty. I would think about doing this throughout the year but I would always get distracted and forget to write it down. It’s such a nice idea though! Now that a year has passed, it would have been so fun if I followed through with it. haha

2014 was an awesome year for me. Highlights include:
*Olivias Bachelorette party in Vegas
*Olivia’s wedding in Maui
*Losing 10 lbs for Olivia’s wedding. I had never been so disciplined!
*Girls weekend in Vegas where I met the love of my life, Will
*Making a big change in my life and finding a new job
*Falling in love

Now that 2015 is here my New Years Resolutions are:
1) Find more time to read
2) Go to the gym more
3) Work on FINALLY launching my new blog

Thanks for staying with me all year long!! Excited to see what 2015 brings!

2014 Resolution

My New Years resolution that I’m most excited about is The Happiness Jar idea.

Throughout the year, every time something happens that really makes my day, I’m going to write it down on a piece of paper, fold it up and put it in a jar. And the end of the year, or maybe even when youre having a really bad day, you can go through the jar and read all the little memories you have saved.

Let’s just hope at the end of the year your jar isnt empty. hahaha just kidding.

Day 1 of 2014

The new year officially starts today for me!! Everyone knows the 1st is all about being hungover. lol

JK I wasn’t even hungover yesterday. I spent the first day of 2014 hanging out with good friends and having a nice dinner right on the beach. It was beautiful!

Today I woke up…and had to go back to work… but I’m actually very excited to stay on track and eat healthy and get back in shape. I know everyone says this on the first of the year…but it’s very important to me that I stick with it.

I will keep you posted on how it goes! I would like to be down 18.5 pounds by April 1st. Gah!

Yipppeeeeee. Welcome 2014 !!!!!

Oh my gosh.
Can you believe it??? Another year has passed!
Goodbye 2013 and hello 2014!!!

When I look back on 2013 the first thing that comes to my mind is “just another year.” Nothing life changing or mind blowing. BUT… I had fun. And everyone close to me remained healthy and happy including myself So to me, that is one successful, happy year!
Last NYE I stayed in with some close friends and we celebrated with games and champagne. It was a blast but I secretly thought to myself if I have a more tame NYE then maybe it’ll bring me something better in the New Year. Like maybe by raging so much on NYE I was jinxing myself for the New Year. (Yes this is how I think, I’m weird.) Well turns out having a tame NYE did not change the jinx because here I am…a year later…and still single. SO…. eff that noise…I’m raging tonight.

I’m really really excited for 2014! I have a feeling it’s going to be my year! I know everyone is hopeful when a new year is approaching but I’m like, EXTRA hopeful. I am planning on changing jobs, I am getting on a hard core workout plan going because I’m MOH at my best friend’s wedding in April and I HAVE to lose weight for that. I’m thinking of starting a youtube channel and I’m doing some updates to my blog. 2014 is going to be a great year! I’m calling it now! 🙂

I hope you are all having a very happy NYE. Watching the ball drop at home on your couch, or out in all the madness searching for a midnight kiss. Cheers to all my readers!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2013!!!!

Here it is!! A new year!! Can’t believe 2012 is gone and 2013 is here!!

2012 was a decent year for me. No major complaints. Highlights from the year include:

-blogging for Seacrest
-best friends that visited me in LA
-“dating” a guy for about 4 months
-joining a kickball team
-making many more amazing memories with all my friends

I’m not going to make a New Years resolution this year but I do have the same hopes as I always do. I would like to fall in love, lose weight and find a job I’m truly happy at. It’s not a lot to ask but yet SO much to ask at the same time.
I’m hopeful and excited to see what this new year brings!!!

It’s a New Year!! Welcome 2012!! Wow did 2011 fly by, or what?? I can’t believe it’s already a new year. I have officially been blogging for over a year now. I remember my post last year about the new year. I was moving into a new apartment complex and super excited for whatever new things may come.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been here a year already and just like last year…there are big changes happening right around the same time. My roommate is leaving me to move back to Wisconsin and I am officially going to be on my own. My first 1 bedroom apartment EVER!

Well just like every new year..I have to make some new years resolutions. And here they are:

1) Learn to play guitar
2) Work out at least 4 times a week.
3) Read more autobiographies.
4) Write a book or put together different short stories into a book
5) Figure out my next steps in my career. Do I want to pursue the entertainment field? Do I want to get another degree in something else? Do I want to work harder in the current field I’m in? Decisions decisions.

I’m going to be 27 in 20 days. I’m feeling positive and just like any new year…I feel like just maybe, this could be my year!! Here’s to hoping that 2012 brings me love, success and more great times with family and friends!

Excited for the New Year!

It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in the lunch room at work telling my co-workers what my new years resolutions for 2010 were going to be.

1) Lose 10 lbs

2) Find a boyfrirend

Well… let’s just say I suck at keeping New Years Resolutions. BUT I am super super excited for 2011!! It’s new, it’s fresh, and it gives me another shot of becoming the person I want to be. I’m not going to list my resolutions quite yet…I’ll wait until the 1st of the year…but I am very stoked to say goodbye 2010 and hello to 2011!
