Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!
I love the excitement and spirit of Christmas Eve. Unfortunately at my house there isn’t too much of it. It’s just my parents and I. No big family and no kids running around to really force you to bask in the excitement.
But I still manage to have a nice day and enjoy Christmas as much as possible.
I am excited to open gifts tomorrow OF COURSE. Haha

Holiday time at an office job is just the best. Especially if you work at an entertainment industry office. They are giving us 2 weeks paid time off for Christmas and New Years. How amazing is that???
Last night we had our office holiday party and since I’m only 4 months into this job… I was a little hesitant to go. Nothing more awkward than standing around a bunch of people you dont know that well. How do you make conversation that doesnt feel forced and uncomfortable??
Luckily a few coworkers from my department decided to go last minute so I had a few people to hang out with. It turned out great because just being there allowed me to mingle with other coworkers I didnt know very well. And with an open bar and appetizers being passed around on trays, how can you not have a great time?? I was pleasantly surprised that a few co-workers (assistants and agents) had very nice things to say to me and it made me feel very appreciated. I’m making more of a positive impact here than I realized. 🙂
I will be heading home for a week to celebrate Christmas then back in LA the second week I have off. I will try my best to keep this blog updated with all the festivities. xoxo

I woke up to a very rainy morning in Los Angeles today. I was quite proud of myself because I found my umbrella before I left for work this morning and prevented myself from getting drenched. How adult of me.
I love the rain. Something different than just sunshine all day, every day. It makes me want to listen to sad Taylor Swift songs and feel melancholy.
I’m already in a rather sad mood. I found out yesterday this guy I met a few years ago, was killed in a freak accident, flying an F-16.
He had been in the Air Force for many years, just recently proposed to his girlfriend, and because of a random mechanical problem, his life was taken.
It has seriously broken my heart. Because this guy, even though we had only hung out a handful of times, really made an impact on me. He was such a good person. He was the kind of guy that was charming, sweet, fun, and made everyone around him feel so special and happy.
I am a religious person and it’s moments like these where I try to understand why God would end such a wonderful person’s life far too soon.

I’m slowly starting to figure out which are my favorite holiday drinks this season. I used to not be a huge fan of the sweet holiday drinks, but this fall I’ve just been open to trying them more. And surprisingly I’m enjoying them!
Today on my lunch break I took a nice walk around the stores in Beverly Hills and decided to give the Chestnut Praline drink a try. And my oh my! Was it amazing!!!! It just tastes delicious and I highly recommend you try it! Another favorite is the Salted Carmel Latte…and I also discovered last week I’m not a huge fan of the Peppermint Mocha Latte. Or maybe it was just because I got the “skinny” one.

I tune into reality TV every now and then. I don’t watch a lot and every episode like I used to. But when I do tune in… I have SO many thoughts. And I feel like I have no one to discuss my thoughts with so here I go. I’m just going to blog bullet points of what I’m feeling based on the new season of the RHOBH
– I’m proud of Lisa for being done with Brandi. I like Brandi but I feel last season she really burned Lisa. Lisa was such a good friend to her and Brandi totally tried to sabotage her last season. For no good reason!!
So good for Lisa for being like “um I see your true colors and the type or person you are now, so bye bye. We’re done”
-Brandi needs to realize when you make these friendships and these people let you into their lives and you building a relationship with them, that doesn’t mean that when you find new friends you tell everyone your old friend’s deepest secrets and try to make everyone hate them. She did it with Adrienne. Then Lisa, and I bet she does it to Yolanda soon enough.
-Yolanda did this whole bit tonight where her husband , David Foster , comes home from work and she’s dressed in lingerie and making him dinner. I do agree with her, that doing these type of sexy things are important to do for your husband. So they don’t get bored and find some other girl to hook up with. But just the look in his eyes as they sat eating dinner together told me he cheats on her. It’s just a vibe I get when he discussed how he would be out of the country.
Poor women.

Happy Friday everyone!!!! The weekend is here. Hooray!! Tonight I’ll be going out with some friends to our favorite outdoor mall. We’ll shop around a little bit then just get dinner and drinks and catch up on life. Friday night mall nights are our absolute fav!
Tomorrow my mom is flying back into LA from a 3 week stay in the Philippines. Excited and happy to have her back home safely.
This is the first weekend in the last 5 weeks where I wont get to see Will. We got spoiled and were able to see each other every single week lately. But now it’s sort of back to reality and only seeing each other every other week. It’s awful. I just want to be around him all the time and going 2 weeks… is …going …to …suck. 😦

My New Years resolution that I’m most excited about is The Happiness Jar idea.
Throughout the year, every time something happens that really makes my day, I’m going to write it down on a piece of paper, fold it up and put it in a jar. And the end of the year, or maybe even when youre having a really bad day, you can go through the jar and read all the little memories you have saved.
Let’s just hope at the end of the year your jar isnt empty. hahaha just kidding.
