I can’t remember why I loved Hanson so much back in the day. Maybe it was because I was 12 and didn’t know better? But boy did I LOVE them. Ob-sessed.
I feel it’s appropriate to post the video of them doing a cover of Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. Only because they make the same exact facials when they sing as they did back then…. over a decade ago. Good times. Check it out.

So I have this really bad cold and I’m supposed to be leaving for Vegas for the weekend tomorrow at 3. Which means I should go to bed right now (10pm) so I can hopefully sleep the sickness away and be all great by tomorrow. But here is a real quick recap on my thoughts of the MTV Video Music Awards tonight. Hopefully Monday I’ll come back and do a real recap!
Rihanna’s performance was great! I noticed at the end when the cameras panned over to Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne none of them were really clapping. Awwwkard. (I also later read on Perez that Nicki Minaj told Rihanna to sit the f*ck down later in the show when she tried to hug her. Hmmmm)
P!nk KILLED her performance. It should have been the finale. It had all the right elements.
Chris Brown was there…looking all cocky and asshole like. Uggg. Everyone just seemed so serious this VMA show. The only people having fun were Katy Perry and Rihanna. I loved it every time the cameras panned over to them. I just wish they would have shown other people in the audience just as much too. Maybe everyone looked so bored so they just stuck to these two. Who knows.
I have never heard of 2 Chainz before tonight but I liked his performance. I got to bring out my gangsta side a bit while I watched… And Lil Wayne coming out on a skateboard? Love him!!
Robert Patinson looked awful tonight!! Why does he LOVE to look awful? It’s annoying. He can be so much hotter. And how awkward is it that so many of the Twilight cast was there but noooo Kristen Stewart. Awkward Awkward. Even that guy that plays Jasper was there!
Taylor Swift gave an awesome finale performance!! I thought it was fun and cute and she sounded great. And she wasn’t wearing an annoying dress. She looked hot in shorts! And can we discuss at the end when they showed Taylor Lautner smiling and clapping for her? Awww I will always ship those two!! Taylor Squared forever!
The end. Those are my thoughts. I’m glad I was able to fast forward through the commercials or who KNOWS if I would have lasted for the whole show. Goodnight to me and let’s all keep our fingers crossed that this cold is gone tomorrow!

Taylor Swift’s new music video for her brand new single “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” was released on MTV today! There is really nothing more exciting that your favorite artist coming out with new music and a new music video. I have a lot of thoughts so bear with me! Let’s break it down, shall we?
Opening scene: Taylor singing in her room and fighting with her boyfriend (who mind you is a gorgeous gorgeous guy! Good casting choice Taylor! HOT!) I’m okay with this scene…. I just wish she wasn’t wearing pajamas. Super weird. Is that necessary? No probably not…but there she is…wearing PJs. Second- her band- dressed up as farm animals or whatever. She said in an interview they’re dressed like that because she thinks the song is quirky and so she wanted the video to be quirky. Well… it just comes off as weird and random. Not feeling it.
Second scene: Taylor in the kitchen with the bf. She looks super cute here!! Not in a granny dress…in a cute cute outfit! Love this scene.
Third scene: I like that they’re fighting in the car but WHY the animals?? Why why why. That goes on for too long.
Fourth scene: My favorite..her and the GORGEOUS boyfriend walking through a forest all cute and romantical. So cute. He is beyond hot. That’s all that I can really focus on.
Final scene: Taylor dancing in her room with everyone, boyfriend shows up, she’s over him, shuts the door in his face. The end!!
And that’s the video!!
Now you have to know, this whole video was filmed in ONE shot. So every time you don’t see Taylor on screen, she’s frantically off camera changing into a different outfit. She said they did this about 17 times before the finally got the final version. I think it turned out pretty good. My initial reaction was to hate it because it was strange and weird and childish. But the more I watch it…the more I like it! Watch the video for yourself to decide what you think. Maybe even watch it 3 or 4 times to really get into it. 😉

Taylor Swift released a teaser today for her upcoming music video for “We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together” (aka WANEEGBT)
Looks like it’s going to be a fun video! But her dress is killing me. Why Taylor WHY must you wear these granny dresses??? I dont understand her style at all. It didnt use to always be like this…. Let’s hope she has better looks throughout the video.
