Oh em gee.
Let’s discuss last night’s finale episode of The Bachelor, shall we???

It seems like another life time ago that I heard the announcement Juan Pablo would be the next Bachelor and I actually felt excited and happy about it. It’s weird to think now…given what I know…that I was once happy about this casting choice.

Last night fans everywhere who watch every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, cringed on their couches as they watched this all go down.

In case you don’t watch the show let me fill you in super quick. Juan dumped Claire and chose Nikki. But he didn’t propose to Nikki, he just asked if she would date him for awhile. Because he “likes her a lot. A. LOT!”
She agreed, and that was that.

So flash forward to the After The Rose episode that aired live right after. There sat Juan Pablo. The biggest douche that has ever been on the show. Talking in circles for a full hour and not making any sense.

I understand that the show is silly, and you can’t really fall in love in that short of time. I don’t dislike him because he didn’t propose. I dislike him because he has the intelligence of a tree. And not only is he stupid but he’s arrogant and cocky too. He just doesn’t get it. I could sit in front of his face, eye to eye, and speak slowly and tell him what he’s doing or saying wrong and he would stare back at me and reply “It’s okay.” and not absorb anything that I just said! That was basically him all season- not absorbing or taking in anything that anyone said to him. Which caused him to not have any real connections with the girls.
No wonder he couldn’t propose at the end. bkasdhlghslkfhsa!

He was a failure at this whole Bachelor thing and wasted our time! lol
I’m really hoping the next season of The Bachelorette goes way better than Juan Pablo’s did. Fans and viewers deserve the last 10 weeks of their lives back. Gah!

The Bachelorette-Men Tell All

The Bachelorette-Men Tell All
zak

After watching the Men Tell All Bachelorette episode tonight I just have sooooo many thoughts. Sorry for the blurry picture above, but it’s almost midnight and I’m blogging so it’s not going to be perfection.

First thought: I can tell ABC is really trying to feel out if they should make Juan Pablo or Zak (Zack?) the next Bachelor. Because HEAVEN FORBID we cast a great unknown guy for the next season like they used to do 10 years ago. No wonder Des had guys on her season thinking of becoming the next Bachelor. It’s because that’s how the casting works these days and present contestants know this.

I would honestly be okay with either of these guys being the next Bachelor. I think Zak is attractive enough and he has such a good heart. And Juan Pablo is probably the hottest guy reality television has ever seen so either way it’s a win win. But if I had to choose it would be Juan.

Ben: Ben was put in the hot seat first tonight at the MTA and you could tell he had his answers rehearsed perfectly. He said exactly the right thing about every issue thrown at him. But at the end of the day it was too late. Even with a perfect response/excuse all the guys and Bachelor Nation watching just can’t trust him anymore. He ruined it all for himself.

Kasey: I liked Kasey during the season and I wish he would have made it further. But he annoyed me tonight. He’s making this whole James/Mikey thing SO dramatic and just turned it into way more serious of an issue than it needed to be.

Mikey/James: Here’s the thing…. these two guys got caught doing/saying what people on this show think to themselves all day long. It’s reality. I think Mikey did a good job of trying to explain how the conversation was just two normal guys talking how they would to each other in the real world. At the end when Des came out James made a great point by saying to her, “You were dating 25 guys at the same time!!” It really made me realize how silly it all is. Des sat up there in front of all the guys and scolded James for not being perfect and all I could think of was, “you want these guys to be 100% devoted to you when you’re off kissing all of them at the same time?” It’s all a tad hypocritical.

I do think James and Mikey are a little douchey and when it comes to finding a guy to marry out of the group, there are a lot better ones to choose, but I think they got too much heat for what really went down.

Michael: I still hate him so so much. Not a fan AT ALL. I wish Ben would have jumped across the table and munched him on the two on one date. I honestly feel sorry for whatever woman who does end up marrying him. Yuck

Next week is Part 1 of the two part Finale and if I had to guess as to what happens this would be it:
Drew tells her he’s just not feelin it so he needs to leave the show. She is heart broken because he dumped her before she could dump him, and at the same time Drew was really the only guy out of the 3 she likes, so after Drew leaves she tells both Brooks and Chris they need to go home too and she just can’t find love with anyone!

BAM!

I don’t read spoilers so please dont tell me if I’m right or wrong.
I am not surprised that this would be the outcome because week after week I watched Des send home amazing guys and kept lame ones. No wonder she couldnt find love.

The Bachelorette

3 episodes in on the newest season of The Bachelorette and I’m loving it! I gotta make this blog post short and sweet because it’s midnight and I really should go to bed. But I just wanted to state my favorites so far!

image

MIKEY!!! Everyone knows I love a good bro… and Mikey is a great “bro” for the show. If I was the Bacheorette he’d def end up in my top 3. He’s funny, manly and just plain fun! But because he isn’t your cliche Bachelor type I’m sure Des will give him the boot far too early. Sad! 😦

image

Ohhh Bryden. Who would have thought? I swear, when I first saw all their bio/casting photos I thought Bryden was one of the worst looking ones. But good Lord, NOW, on the show, he is HOT! Especially on tonight’s episode. He combed his hair off to the side and went from a 8 to a 9! I’m rooting for him.

image

Seriously, James went from “Who cares about James?” to “Des pick James!!” tonight. We got to see this sweet personal side of him. He showed Des that he’s making a sacrafise by being on the show because he really does want to find love! Even if that means leaving his sick dad at home. “Will you accept this rose?” “Yes if you accept this daisy.” Swoon!
Girls’ hearts everywhere melted.

Drew is HOT and doesn’t get any camera time!!! I think this changes next week but as for now…we need more Drew!

I seriously love so many of the guys she has right now. And side note… Brian’s “girlfriend” was psycho tonight. I’m sure the producers got her all riled up before letting her lose on him but still…the whole scene just made me annoyed.

Sometimes love can be a hectic journey. But it’s the journey that creates love.

I heard this quote from Sean Lowe on last night’s episode of The Bachelor. (Yes I’m quoting The Bachelor) But I just loved this quote so much. Love IS a hectic journey. Sometimes our paths take longer and are more difficult than others but whatever our path to happiness may be, we all hope to find love at the end of it.

Quote

The new season of ABC’s The Bachelor premiered tonight and the producers answered every girl’s prayers by casting Sean Lowe as the next bachelor. We all fell in love with him when we met him on Emily’s season of The Bachelorette. He is the all American boy that girls picture when they imagine what they want their husbands to act, be and look like.

The first episode was filled with epic moments. One girl attemped to do back flips and fell on her head, another girl sang to him, one girl taught him a personal handshake that was 3 steps too long, one girl had one arm, and to top it off one girl showed up in a wedding dress and mouth raped him. Which just goes to show you there are no rules in dating. Some may say these acts seem desperate and crazy. Some may say it earns you a rose!
My favorites so far are AshLee,  Desiree, and Tierra, . But after seeing what’s going to happen in the upcoming episodes, we can cross Tierra off my list of favorites. Why are some gorgeous girls so evil? It’s like God blessed you with perfect looks, why do you have to go mess it up and look so ugly when you act bitchy? Sheesh.

I honestly feel like Sean is a 10 and these girls are 7s…8s at most. They should have had a bunch of Emily Maynards running around for him.

I don’t read spoilers so I’m excited to see who he picks in the end!

“I think God puts the right people in our lives when the timing is just right. And I feel like that with us. I feel like the timing was just right.”

“I found my everything. I’m so in love with you. And I promise you that if you let me into your life you will never feel lonely again.”

“I want you to know what I’m about to ask you is a forever thing. Emily, will you marry me?”

——- Jef Holm’s proposal on The Bachelorette

Image

My boy got picked!! Jef with one F was chosen tonight by Emily and he got down on one knee and proposed to her during tonight’s finale. He said a lot of amazing things during his proposal. One can only hope it works out with these two because the words were heavy and should not be taken lightly.

Emily did something no bachelor or bachelorette had ever done before on the show and that was she sent the other “contestant” home before they could even have a final date. She didnt even give the other guy (Arie) a chance because she knew in her heart that Jef was already the one.

The three hour finale showed a “Live After The Rose Special” and the audience learned that Jef and Emily are STILL together and happy. I hope it works out for them but if not, I’m always available, Jef. 😉
